screen-shot-2016-10-26-at-11-49-14-am

As memories of summer begin to fade and we head into the busy Fall and Holiday season, it’s important to remember that we need your help to keep our home in good order!

  • Do you need a front door key? You may now sign for one at the 2nd Floor Management Office.
  • Do not remove laundry baskets from the laundry room for any reason. Ever.
  • If a washer or dryer is broken, please report it to management or let the front desk know so we can get it fixed.
  • If you borrow one of the shopping carts or the luggage cart, please return it promptly so someone else can use it.
  • Break down boxes and bring them to the basement.
  • Bring all oversize items to the basement. Do not leave in compactor room. Please place trash only in bags that fit down chute.
  • If you have a package at the front desk, please pick it up promptly. We can’t be responsible if you don’t pick up your package.
  • Smoking in any common area (including stairwells) is strictly prohibited.
  • If you are a dog owner, you must register your dog with the management office.
  • If a shareholder is waiting for an elevator and is afraid of dogs, we ask dog owners to please let them go ahead and then take the next elevator. This is part of the CPN dog policy.
  • Garage users may have one tire and one shopping cart in their space along with their car and nothing more. Vehicles that do not have a current CPN parking sticker will be towed at owner’s expense.
  • Original apartment tiles may contain asbestos. Do not remove or cut these tiles. Place floor covering over them. If you have exposed tiles that appear loose or compromised in any way, notify management immediately.
  • Double bag and securely tie all cat litter before sending down the chute.
  • See something around the Building that doesn’t look right or needs attention? Let Management know! Thanks being a good neighbor!

Travelers think of it as the Hilton Brooklyn New York, whose address is 140 Schermerhorn St. Luxury-apartment buyers think of it as The Boerum, which uses 265 State St. as its address. The 196-room hotel will occupy the first six floors of the Boerum Hill building that the Carlyle Group and Flank, a development firm, are constructing. And 128 condos will be situated on the upper floors of  the 20-story property. Hilton’s website is accepting reservations for Jan. 15, 2017 and thereafter for this new Brooklyn inn.
